Why “Roosevelt Ruck”?
In 1908, President Theodore Roosevelt issued an executive order requiring military officers to complete a demanding endurance march: 50 miles in 20 hours.
Over a century later, the challenge remains legendary for its simplicity, brutality, and emphasis on grit over comfort.
